Sarah Palin's Daughter is Pregnant.

Well, now, the Palin camp is saying the Bristol ***Is currently pregnant*** and will marry the father. So......hmmmmm. They were trying to hide Bristol's pregnancy while Mom was really pregnant, or the first baby (that mom faked) really is Bristol's and then she went and did it again--but good luck! Bristol got preggers again. Let's wait and see when the child is actually born. So fun! (Except for the actual humans involved.) It's almost like watching soap operas! Or a train wreck! All I can say is that I hope for an evil twin in the future. Or at least someone in a cape.

At least, let's all give a shout-out for abstinence-only education. Works every time. Until, you know, that one time....

If Sarah Palin and her family decide to opt for abstinence only sex ed for their children, that is one thing. But to try to force the school systems of this country to use an apparently ineffective educational model is beyond outrageous. ( Frankly I think it is wrong for parents to keep their own kids from life-saving and life-altering knowledge, but at least it's less offensive than interfering in the sex education of other families.)

Sarah Palin also appeared to believe in abstinence only education as her oldest son, Track, was born on April 20, 1989, while she was married on August 29, 1988 (she eloped with her hunny). So, either Track was born an entire month premature (which there is no indication of) or Sarah, who believes in no abortion including cases of rape and incest, no birth control, certainly no birth control taught in schools, was preggers when she was married. She gets to do the wild thing, but not me nor thee.

This woman, who is against most common forms of birth control and who is vociferously against the right to choose, has shown in her life what such choices lead to--her son conceived (at least potentially) out of wedlock and her pregnant 17 year old daughter (is it her second child?) You go Sarah. Do your best to force your bad choices on the rest of us.

By my reckoning, she grabbed her gun for the shotgun wedding when she was 7 days "late". End of May would have been the approximate due date if they conceived on their wedding night. Mid April delivery puts her full term baby close to six weeks early. Hmmm. At least she wasn't a teenager.
